A week in La Plagne? Your driver meets you at Lyon Airport and takes you to your village, from Plagne Centre to Belle Plagne. The price is agreed on quote before departure.
La Plagne is reached through the Tarentaise. After the A43 and A430 to Albertville, the N90 passes Moûtiers and continues to Aime.
At Aime you leave the valley. The D221 climbs about 15 km to Plagne Centre. The tourist office counts 21 numbered hairpins before the high-altitude villages.
Winter tyres or chains from 1 November to 31 March in the mountain areas of Savoie. Our cars are ready for the D221.
The N90 is busy from Albertville to Moûtiers and on to Aime. Keep an hour's margin that day.
Montchavin-Les Coches and Champagny-en-Vanoise are not reached via the D221. Tell us your village and the quote will reflect it.
One price for the whole vehicle. Sedan: up to 4 people. Van: 7 seats, with room for skis.
Two motorway stages, then the Tarentaise to Aime and the climb to Plagne Centre.

Once you have your bags, look for the tablet with your name. The driver walks you to the vehicle and loads all the ski gear.
Share your flight number: the driver knows when you land.
Plane running late? The driver waits, for the same price.
Ask for a suitable seat when you book.
La Plagne is not one village but about ten, spread across the mountain. The village and residence name are all we need.
The first village, built in 1961. It is the hub of the ski area.
Easy to spot thanks to its huge building nicknamed the "snow liner".
A fully car-free village. The driver drops you as close as possible to your residence.
Montchavin-Les Coches, Montalbert, Champagny-en-Vanoise: each has its own access road. Please say which in your request.
Aime-la-Plagne has its own station at the foot of the climb. The taxi can meet you there, or at Lyon Part-Dieu.
Aime-la-Plagne station: 18 km to Plagne Centre, about 25 to 30 minutes.
Lyon Part-Dieu station: 208 km, 2h45 to 3h15.
It all began in 1961 with Plagne Centre. The other villages followed, both up high and down in the valleys.
La Plagne hosted the bobsleigh and luge events of the 1992 Olympic Games. It is the only French resort with an Olympic bobsleigh track.
With Les Arcs it forms the Paradiski area, about 425 km of runs. Staying on the other side? See the Lyon Airport → Les Arcs taxi.
Count the drive, a buffer and 2 hours at the airport before your flight:
The driver comes up to collect you and your luggage outside your residence.
From the airport you first need a train, then a coach from Aime. And the coach may not serve your village at a time that suits you.
You have to drive the hairpins in winter. In a car-free village like Belle Plagne, it stays in the car park all week.
Straight from the airport to your village, no changes. The price is fixed when you book.
La Plagne is 158 km from Geneva and 196 km from Lyon. Driving time is similar. Pick the airport that works for your flight.
Landing in Geneva? We drive that route too.
