The journey between Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport and Geneva mainly follows the A40 motorway (known as the "White Highway"). After approximately 110 km on French territory, crossing the border at the Bardonnex post marks the entry into Switzerland. From there, the Swiss N1/A1 motorway reaches central Geneva in 15 additional minutes.
Outside peak hours and ski-resort return Saturdays (January-March), expect about 1h45 of travel time. At peak times, allow up to 2h15 or even 2h30. Our driver monitors traffic in real time and adjusts the route if necessary (via Bellegarde if Bardonnex border is congested).
