Private transfer between Geneva Airport and Samoëns, the only village in Haute-Savoie listed in its entirety as a historic monument. 78 km, 1h15 door to door.
The route follows the A40 to Cluses, then the D907 up the Giffre valley through Taninges to Samoëns. The whole approach runs along the valley floor, with no pass and no hairpins — one of the simplest accesses in Haute-Savoie, passable in any conditions.
Allow 1h15 in normal conditions. The village sits at just 720 metres, but the Grand Massif Express gondola reaches Samoëns 1600 and the whole ski area within minutes. On Saturdays from January to March, Taninges builds up: plan for up to 1h50.
Samoëns is the only village in Haute-Savoie listed in full as a historic monument — the Gros Tilleul square, the sixteenth-century covered market, the stonemasons' houses. Accommodation is scattered through the bourg and hamlets, so an exact address matters.
No pass, no hairpins: the Giffre valley runs flat to the village. During a snowfall Samoëns stays reachable when the Flaine road turns difficult — a real argument for late arrivals.
Winter tyres compliant with the French Loi Montagne II from 1 November to 31 March and chains carried on board. The climbs to Vercland and the high hamlets can require them after fresh snow; fitting is included.
Price is for the whole vehicle, including tolls, luggage and ski equipment. The weekend rate applies on Saturdays and Sundays. Identical outbound and return.
A firm price confirmed before you travel, for the whole vehicle. No per-passenger supplement, no surcharge for a delayed flight, tolls included.

For four travellers on a weekday, the saloon works out at roughly €41 each for a direct journey with drop-off at your accommodation. On busy Saturdays from January to March, allow up to 1h50.
Firm price before you travel. One way, return or both, at the same rate.
The fixed price covers the village, its hamlets and the neighbouring communes of the Giffre valley. We drop at the exact address with no surcharge between areas.
The listed bourg around the Gros Tilleul square, with the Grand Massif Express leaving for the ski area. Alive year-round, with shops and a Wednesday market.
The high snow front, reached by gondola from the village or by the Vercland road. Ski-in ski-out apartments served at the same price.
Hamlets scattered across the slopes, with farmhouse chalets and larger rentals. Short but steep roads, chained when needed.
Neighbouring valley villages, one inside the Grand Massif and the other a listed nature reserve. Covered at the same price.
