The route takes the A40 to Cluses, then the D902 up through Taninges and over the Ramaz pass to Les Gets. The village sits on the col separating the Giffre valley from Morzine, which makes it the first Portes du Soleil resort you reach from Geneva.
Allow 1h10 in normal conditions — one of the best ratios of transfer time to ski area size anywhere near Geneva. On Saturdays from January to March the D902 builds up between 11am and 4pm, so plan for up to 1h50. We track your flight and set the departure to suit.
Les Gets is one of the most popular resorts with French and British families. Child seats and boosters are provided free on request when you book, and our vans are sized for pushchairs and children's kit.
Winter tyres compliant with the French Loi Montagne II from 1 November to 31 March, chains carried on board. At 1,172 m on a pass, Les Gets sees snow early in the season.
1h10 from Geneva against 1h20 for Morzine and 1h40 for Avoriaz, all giving access to the same 600 km of linked pistes. That gap matters on a short three or four-day trip.
