Private transfer between Geneva Airport and Le Grand-Bornand, a working farming village and Aravis ski resort. 70 km, 1h10 door to door, dropped in the village or up at Le Chinaillon.
The route runs down the A41 towards Annecy, climbs the Thônes valley on the D909 and turns at Saint-Jean-de-Sixt into the Bouchet valley. The village of Le Grand-Bornand lies at the head of that valley at 950 metres; the high resort of Le Chinaillon sits six kilometres above at 1,300 metres.
Allow 1h10 for the village and 1h20 for Le Chinaillon, both at the same price. On Saturdays from January to March the Thônes valley builds up in the late morning: plan for 1h45. Crossing no pass makes this route more dependable than the Portes du Soleil during a snowfall.
Le Grand-Bornand is still a farming commune producing reblochon, not a purpose-built resort. Accommodation is scattered across the hamlets, which is exactly where door-to-door drop-off beats a shuttle that stops in the centre.
Two altitudes, two levels of demand. Winter tyres compliant with the Loi Montagne II from 1 November to 31 March and chains carried for the Chinaillon climb, fitted at no extra cost.
The resort hosts a Biathlon World Cup round each season, which saturates the valley for three days. We shift departure times over that period — tell us your date when you book.
Price is for the whole vehicle, including tolls, luggage and ski equipment. The weekend rate applies on Saturdays and Sundays. Identical outbound and return.
A firm price confirmed before you travel, for the whole vehicle. No per-passenger supplement, no surcharge for a delayed flight, tolls included.

For four travellers on a weekday, the saloon works out at roughly €41 each for a direct journey with drop-off at your accommodation. On busy Saturdays from January to March, allow up to 1h45.
Firm price before you travel. One way, return or both, at the same rate.
The fixed price covers the whole commune, from the village to the Bouchet valley hamlets and the high resort. We drop at the exact address.
A traditional bourg around the church and market square, with the Joyère gondola leaving from the village. Authentic and lively out of season.
The high resort six kilometres above the village, main snow front and direct access to the ski area. The climb needs chains after fresh snow.
Scattered hamlets above the village, cross-country area and unspoilt setting. Farmhouse chalet rentals served at the same price.
Outlying districts and the neighbouring village on the access route, often chosen for cheaper accommodation. Covered at the same price.
