Geneva airport to Annecy by private transfer, at a fixed price for the whole vehicle. 50 km of motorway and about 45 minutes to your hotel, your lakeside rental or your address in town.
From the airport the driver heads for the Bardonnex border crossing and takes the A41 south. This stretch opened at the end of 2008 and runs through the 3.1 km Mont Sion tunnel. The toll is at Cruseilles. The Annecy-Nord exit then leads to the old town, the lakeshore or the outer districts.
Allow 45 minutes in normal traffic, or 40 to 55 depending on where you are dropped. Cross-border commuter peaks, early morning and late afternoon, can stretch it to 1h15, and so can summer weekends around the lake. There is no pass and no mountain road, so the route is simple in every season.
People come to Annecy for the lake as much as the town. The driver stops outside your hotel, apartment or lakeside rental, so there is no dragging cases from the bus station.
Your driver waits with a name board, on the Swiss or the French side of the airport. The flight is tracked, the first hour of waiting after landing is free, and evening arrivals cost nothing extra.
Plenty of guests stay in Annecy and ski La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand or the Semnoz for the day. Skis and snowboards travel in the seven-seat van only, so mention them when you book.
Price is for the whole vehicle, including tolls and luggage. Skis travel by van only. The weekend rate applies on Saturdays and Sundays. Identical outbound and return.
50 km, about 45 minutes, almost all of it on the motorway.
The Geneva to Annecy transfer time is about 45 minutes, almost all of it on the A41 motorway. On a busy winter Saturday allow up to 1h15. Annecy is not a ski resort, so delays rarely come from mountain roads. They build at the border crossing and on the approaches to town, where cross-border commuters and skiers heading for the Aravis share the same junctions.
Scheduled coaches link Geneva airport with the Annecy bus station, next to the railway station, on fixed timetables. By train you change at least once in Geneva. Both options leave you in the town centre, not at your door. A private transfer leaves when your flight lands and drops you at your hotel, with the price set per vehicle rather than per passenger.
For the Annecy to Geneva airport run, the driver collects you at your accommodation. For a weekday morning flight, leave about three hours before take-off to absorb commuter traffic at the border. At weekends two and a half hours is usually enough. Tell us which side of the airport your airline uses, Swiss or French, and you are dropped right outside departures.
Swiss side or French side, flight tracked, first hour of waiting free.
Your driver waits in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name, then helps you with your luggage to the vehicle.
Geneva Airport has a Swiss side and a French side. We pick up on both: choose yours in the booking form.
We track your flight. Waiting time starts when you actually land and the first hour is free, so a delay or slow baggage costs you nothing.
Landing at 10pm? The price stays the same. There is no evening surcharge on transfers to Annecy.
Ski equipment travels in a seven-seat van only. Tick “skis” in the form and the van price shows straight away.

The D1508 runs along the lake. It is also the road to Albertville: wide and quick, even in summer.
The D909 follows the lake below Mont Veyrier. It is narrower. Allow about fifteen minutes more for Talloires than for Sévrier.
The drive takes 45 minutes in normal traffic. In the morning and early evening, the Bardonnex border is busy. For a flight, leave 2h45 before take-off, or 3h15 at peak times.

Since 2017 Annecy has been a single commune merging six former towns. We drop at the exact address, from the historic centre to the residential districts.
The pedestrian quarter crossed by the Thiou canals. The car stops as close as possible to your hotel or apartment entrance, so give the full address when booking.
The wide lawn facing the lake, the Jardins de l'Europe and the Pont des Amours. This is where the lakeside hotels are, and it is busy all summer.
The former town on the slopes north-east of the lake. Mainly residential, with quick access to Albigny beach.
The delegated communes around the centre, close to the motorway junctions. Often chosen for larger rentals or business stays.
